Terms and Conditions / General Travel Conditions of Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH
With every booking/reservation, the following conditions are deemed accepted by the person making the booking and all registered guests.
Scope of Services, Booking and Conclusion of Contract
The detailed description of the properties and the respective associated costs together form the basis of the booking.
These documents are compiled by Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH to the best of its knowledge; however, absolute accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
Bookings for the properties offered by us can be made by telephone, email, or online via www.alpenidyll.com. A written confirmation will be sent immediately thereafter. Upon this booking confirmation, the contract between Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH and the guest is concluded.
If the booking confirmation contains an alternative property differing from www.alpenidyll.com or the original offer, it is deemed accepted upon payment of the deposit. The agreements stated in the booking confirmation always apply.
In the event of unavoidable changes to services or prices on our part, you will be informed immediately. In the case of a significant correction after conclusion of the contract (e.g. the omission of a specific feature that made the property particularly attractive—access restrictions are expressly excluded), withdrawal from the contract is possible free of charge within 3 days of receiving the notification. Payments already made will be refunded.
If the rental property is not in accordance with the contract due to fault on the part of Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH, an equivalent property will be offered where possible. If this is not possible, a price reduction may be granted depending on the severity of the defect, provided fault clearly lies with Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH.
Payment Terms, Proof of Identity, Price Changes, Booking Cancellation
The basis is the total amount stated in the booking confirmation for the stay, i.e. rental price + local tax/tourism levy + total costs for cleaning and linen package + any additionally booked services such as extra beds, pet surcharges, etc.
Deposit: 40% within 7 days after booking
Final payment: 60% no later than 14 days before arrival
If the deposit is not received within 7 days after booking confirmation, the reservation will be canceled by Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH and deemed invalid.
Failure to receive the final payment 14 days before arrival is considered a cancellation by the customer; the reservation will be canceled by Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH and deemed invalid, and the deposit will be fully retained.
For bookings made less than 14 days before arrival, 100% of the travel price is due immediately.
For short-term or last-minute bookings with arrival within a few days—where bank transfer cannot be completed in time—payment is made exclusively by credit card.
Proof of identity in the form of a passport or ID copy for each guest must be submitted immediately after receipt of the booking confirmation, along with complete personal details. This is mandatory for every booking with Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH.
Any changes or cancellations of bookings by the guest must be made in writing to be valid, including both notification and confirmation.
Cancellation fees:
More than 13 days before arrival: free of charge
8 to 13 days before arrival: 50% of total price
0 to 7 days before arrival: 100% of total price
Alternatively, for some holiday homes, the cancellation policy of 0 to 30 days before arrival: 100% of the total price may apply.
Special Grounds for Termination / Price Adjustments by Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH
Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH reserves the right to terminate existing bookings/reservations without notice in cases of force majeure, including war, strikes, epidemics, official orders, and similar unavoidable circumstances.
This also applies in the event of a property being blocked (rental prohibition) by the owner.
Additionally, termination is possible if, despite request, required personal data is not fully provided or passport/ID copies are not submitted promptly.
The right to change prices after conclusion of the contract up to 28 days before the start of the rental exists in cases such as changes or introduction of taxes/fees, exchange rate fluctuations, etc. If a price increase exceeds 10%, the customer may withdraw from the contract free of charge within 3 days of receiving notification. Payments already made will be refunded in full.
Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH expressly recommends taking out travel cancellation insurance to cover potential cancellation costs.
Arrival and Departure
Properties of Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH are equipped with key safes, allowing flexible arrival times. Arrival is generally possible from 17:00 on the booked arrival day. However, please note that contact with Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH (e.g. for questions or issues) is only guaranteed until 18:00.
In cases of delayed arrival (planned or unforeseen), non-arrival, or early departure—regardless of the reason—the full rental price will be charged.
Departure must take place by 10:00 on the day of departure.
Extensions of stay must be arranged exclusively with Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH, which will decide and communicate the conditions if applicable.
Tenant Obligations, Liability
Published or generally applicable rules must be followed, including:
Details of the respective house rules (posted or communicated)
Occupancy of the property according to booking, not exceeding it
Accommodation of pets only if explicitly permitted and booked (usually for a fee); proof of appropriate pet liability insurance is required prior to booking
Disposal of waste according to instructions provided
Cleaning of the kitchen, including inventory and equipment, is the tenant’s responsibility and not part of the final cleaning
Proper use of parking/storage areas for vehicles, bicycles, skis, etc.
Careful use of appliances (TV, washing machine/dryer, etc.) according to instructions
Use of internet/Wi-Fi according to instructions
General consideration for neighbors
Avoidance of noise, smoke, and other disturbances
If emergency services (fire brigade, ambulance, etc.) are called due to the tenant’s fault, all resulting costs must be borne by the tenant. In the event of eviction, it must be complied with, and no refund of rent will be granted.
Damages must be reported immediately and, if possible, in writing. The guest is liable for all damages caused by improper use or intentional actions. Hidden and unreported damages will be charged retrospectively.
In general, each property must be treated with care.
Each guest is solely responsible for themselves, their property, and any items brought along. Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH assumes no liability whatsoever for injuries or direct/indirect damages of any kind occurring during the stay.
Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH is to be held harmless and indemnified in all cases.
Complaints
In the event of complaints, contact must be made with Alpenidyll Apartments – GERZ GmbH or the local representative. Damages must be reported immediately and in a verifiable manner (ideally by email, with or without prior verbal/telephone notification).
Complaints reported only later or upon/after departure, despite earlier awareness, will not be considered.
Information on Data Protection & Summer Card
Alpenidyll Apartments – Gerz GmbH is a “Card Partner Business” of the ARGE Schladming-Dachstein Card. Therefore, all accommodations offered are automatically Summer Card properties, granting guests free access to various attractive holiday experiences throughout the region. Bookings without the Summer Card benefit are not possible.
By making a booking for a Summer Card property—by telephone, email, or online via www.alpenidyll.com—you expressly consent, in accordance with the EU GDPR, to the transfer of your registration data to the ARGE Schladming-Dachstein Card guest card system and its further processing.
With the booking confirmation, the contract is concluded and consent to data processing is given.
The booking confirmation also constitutes explicit consent to pass on passport/ID data to property owners if required for damage settlement related to the rented property.
Law, Miscellaneous
Austrian law shall apply exclusively.
Place of jurisdiction and performance is Liezen.
Misprints, price changes, and errors excepted.
